Is there such a thing? If so, I am having it. I made some sales today and am ever so happy! And I made 2 new necklaces that came out great. Wanna see? Ok... here....
So, now I have questions. What are you looking for when you go shopping on someone's Etsy or website or blog? What would you like to see more of in my shop? Dragons? Frogs? Turtles? Some other animal? Jewelry? If jewelry, what kind? Covered items? Christmas goodies? I need your input! Please! What price range are you looking for? Besides *free*. :D

I like to see finished necklaces and chokers in nicely done styles (I'm not a big person, and I don't do flashy well lol) that use strung beads rather than simple pendants on chain. Basically the sort of stuff I might make if I got away from making simple pendant wear he he.
Having SAID that - on Etsy, what apparently sells best is pendants, beads and other simple supplies!
My best seller on Etsy is basic supplies canes in the one store, and finished beads in the other. My website is the same - my small sculpted pieces or vessels do not sell as often. In real life, my small vessels and finished jewelry sell at roughly the same pace as my beads - just that a handful of beads is a ten dollar purchase and the necklaces are 20-40 a pop.
You do nice work with a good finish and a nice job of arranging items in terms of composition and colour, I'm not surprised you're selling them!
Hi Elaine, thanks for giving me your input! I sure appreciate it. I like finished necklaces, too. I'm a tall person and LOVE flash. :) I'm thinking how I can take your gorgeous canes and make them wild. Oh boy. What FUN! Maybe I will come up with an Elaine worthy necklace this weekend. Heh, heh. You saw Jana's article in Art Jewlery? I can see your canes there.
So, everyone... go look and then click on Tooaquarius, ok? Just great stuff!
Hi Moe, I like longer multistrand necklaces with a variety of beads so I can keep looking at them when I get bored doing something else (hmmm... as if that ever happens). I do like the more bohemian style necklaces, ethnic stuff..
And I LOVE the purple I got from you.
hmm.. I guess I like a lot of things. I like wild things BUT not flashy.
As for making them for your Etsy shop.. I think you do not really have to rely on my taste as I am very peculiar where that is concerned and not representing the vast majority LOL.
I really don't think you need to change anything you are doing.. you are doing great and making wonderful jewellery !
those are great Moe.
I can honestly say I cruise etsy just to look and not to shop. It takes something very special to make me stop and shop. I never know until it catches my eye. I look for price ranges between 10 and 40.
helpful aren't I?
I love that scrap clay cane necklace.
Thanks, Mary! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. :D
