Holy Crow!

Can you believe it is the LAST day of November already??? It's almost Christmas! OIKS!

So, with that in mind, I have been making goodies. Lots of goodies. My friend BJ sent me some cool things so I made a bracelet, a necklace and earrings from her stuff. The bracelet are BJ tiles. She does GORGEOUS work! I will have to get her new blog site and put it on here so you can all go see her work. The daisy necklace has a BJ focal. I made the chain and toggle from copper wire. I love how this looks! And the earrings are made from one of BJ's canes. She had the dangles on something else. I promptly removed them and put them on here. When I grow up, I wanna e just like Beej! :D

Then I made some goodies of my own. Using an easy mokume gane technique made by another clay friend Tonja, I made this wine stopper and earrings and pen. So, what do you think?? These pens are just so much fun!

Ok, back to the clay table! Thanks for looking!

Another Fun Pen

My friend BJ made this exceedingly cool cane. She gave it to me because I have whined and sniveled for a year that she wasn't giving me presents. :D Actually, there's a bit more to the story but mostly it was me sniveling. Anyway, is this the coolest cane in the universe?? WTG. Beej!

My friend in Scotland, Chris, who is masquerading as Zapkath Art has a new link. So, if you tried to click on her link over there>>>>>>>, you couldn't get to her. I fixed it so now you can go see all her exceedingly cool stuff! Have a look! :D

I'm On A Roll!

Gang busters is the phrase! I've been making fun stuff by the truckload lately. What fun! So, I made some more pens then I had a minor disaster. :( I made this wonderful dark red with gold pen and was all set to put it together when Oh NO! I had 2 top barrels but no bottom barrel. YIKES! So, this morning I called Boston Clay Works where I bought the pen guts and spoke with Larry, the owner. What a guy! He was sorry and offered to fix the problem immediately. And did he? He most certainly did! Not 15 minutes after I hung up, I got an email saying my "order" had been sent. Now THAT'S customer service! I was going to list their web site here but I can't remember so I will make another post for it. They have grand stuff and the best customer service! Yay for Boston Clay Works! Ok, I just added their link to my list over here on the right>>>>>>>>>>>>. Have a look!

I also got the wine stopper blanks from them, too. Tell me what you think, ok? Thanks!

Fun New stuff

I was NEVER EVER going to make pens. Silly me! :( I didn't even know people used pens anymore! Sily me, again. But a friend wanted one so I made it. Uh oh. It was FUN! So, I have been making pens and selling them as fast as I make them. How cool is THAT?! Anyway, here is my latest batch. I am making Men's Pens. :) I'm all happy with how these came out. I decided to make unisex pens as there are a zillion feminine pens. Although, just because I said that, I will be overcome with the desire to make floral pens. I can feel it coming. :D

Brat Kitties of the Universe

Well, it's been a while since I took pictures of the little brats. Here they are, outside after a big rain. Ipo, you all know already. Allie is somewhat camera shy so I was really happy to see our little sweetie girl looking so adorable. She IS adorable. Well, Ipo is, too. Mostly. Sometimes. ;D

And speaking of the big rain, this little garden is filled with red torch ginger. It's right outside our door and in between the hallway to our door and the parking garage. It had rained really hard an the leaves were filled with droplets that looked like huge piles of diamonds with the sunlight sparkling off them. It was so gorgeous. I was trying hard to capture the sparkling effect but it didn't work. I guess I would have had to go right up to the leaf. Anyway, even though you can't see the gorgeous diamonds, it's still a lovely sight, don't you think? And those kitties are pretty cute, too. Prejudiced? ME???? :D
