Some New Stuff

Finally!  My muse returned!  Yay!  I think she went to Maui for a long vacation.  :(

Anyway, I made some new stuff.  Hooray!  I fell in love with Irish Mishley's "Skyscraper Bracelet" so I bought her tute.  This bracelet is NOT from her tute but I did borrow her idea of staggered rectangles.  Go look at Iris's shop.  It's called PolypediaOnline.  She is SOOO talented!  I can't wait to try the new stuff!

Until I can try it, here is my staggered rectangles stretchy bracelet.  It's made with Matt Kernan canes.  Matt makes the best canes!

And here is my sunshine yellow necklace.  It's Hawaiian sunshine to wear!

Just a quick post to let you all know that my Hunnibunni had his surgery and is looking good and feeling much better.  I told the doc that I've had Brian for 25 years and I want to keep him another 25 so he did his best and it looks like I'll get my wish.  I'm just so happy!  Thanks to all of you for all your support and prayers.  Way to go, Friends!  You did good!  xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Amazing People

As you know, life has been tough the last couple months.  I tried not to whine too too much.  Ok...but I TRIED!  :)

Anyway, There are some really amazing and glorious people in our world.  And somehow I managed to know them all!  Lucky me!

Today the postman rang our phone so I went out to see what he had.  He had a box from Israel!  Now, the other day I got another package that made me think my brain damage was worse than I thought.  I was thinking I had forgotten I had ordered from our Annette but NO!  She just sent me a present because she is a sweetheart.

Then today I take my little box into our apartment and I see it's from Israel!  Oh boy!  From Israel to Hawaii... how far away can you get?  Then it dawns on me that I didn't remember ordering anything from Liat Ripp in Israel.  I was hoping I had just forgotten because Israelis make the more gorgeous canes in the whole universe.

So, I tear open my box and there is the absolute sweetest note saying a little bird told her my Hunnibunni had been so sick and she thought I needed cheering up.  Inside were a hamsa keyring and the most adorable fish magnet.

I ask you...what could be more wonderful than someone thinking like that?  The amazing thing is not only does Liat live in Israel where they all live in horrendous danger every day of their lives but also Liat makes the most gorgeous canes and the cutest fishies you ever saw!  So, I ran off to her Etsy to buy some but...NO!!!! the shop was empty.  :(  Anyway, I am still just about speechless over her love and generosity and thoughtfulness.

Liat, thank you so very very much.  I just can't get over your caring and kindness.  And you, too, Annette!!  Many smoochies to both of you!

And when you get some canes in your shop...I want some!

So, here are my presents from Israel!  And in my favorite colors!

Isn't the clay world marvelous?  xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hi Friends,

I'm sorry I have been missing in action for the last few weeks.  My poor Hunnibunni has serious surgery and spent 29 days in the hospital.  I simply couldn't get it together to blog.  But, I haven't forgotten you guys!  And, now that Brian is home and starting the long mending process, I'm hoping to get back to "normal".  I hear all you guys snickering at me being normal.  :)

Love you guys!
