Holy Crow..It's Been TWO Months!

Yikes,  Two months since I was here.  I wonder if I have and friends left?

My friend Lee makes dichroic glass.  She makes other stuff, too, but her dichroic is just great!  So, I wanted to tell you about her shop.  I've purchased several pieces for bead embroidery and they are beautiful. In the picture below, you will see a necklace I made.  Lee kindly gave me that cab and I thought it was so cool that she ought to have it to wear as an advertisement for her beautiful glass.  So I made this necklace and sent it back to her.  She's in the Chicago area.
So, it came out nice, didn't it?  Maybe I should ask for it back?  No?  Ok, she gets to keep it.  :D  Isn't that brick pattern cool, tho?  LOVE those colors!

So, please go visit Lee's Etsy shops.  Let's see if I can do this so the links are clickable:

Please do pass on Lee's name to anyone who loves dichroic.  Happy Beading!  Happy Claying!  Happy everything!

That is really beautiful. How did you do the necklace? Is that herringbone or Kumihimo? I'm not sure I could have parted with that.

Moe, I just bought one of Lee's pens that had cats on it. Can you find out from her where she gets those pens that she covers and let me know. They are really nice. Thanks for helping me spend more money. She lives in Fox Lake which is near to where I use to live. My snowbird neighbor is back in Grayslake now. I'll be there sometime in August.

Really gorgeous collaboration! Thanks for sharing her info. Lovely things! I pinned and FB-ed Lee's cat pen. (Lucky Bonnie to have one coming her way!)

Thanks, Bonnie. The necklace is peyote. I am NOT a fan of herringbone. Not sure why but I just don't like it.

Isn't that cat pen cool? I'm glad you got it! Lee said that particular one she got from someone she knows but I think pennnstate has them. I think it's www.pennstate.com. If not google pennstate and pens. :)

Penn State has the best pens and now you don't need a special tool to put them together. Be careful of the men's style with a thicker body. Never could figure out how to put them together.

Trina, what style are you getting from them that doesn't need a pen press??? I have their site saved and will go look through it but I thought they all needed a press.
