Opal Craziness

I got bit by the opal bug so I decided to make a bunch of opals in weird colors.  Ok, some are *standard* opals but the rest are fun.  :)  I beaded my favorite yellow one but now I'm stuck on what to do for a rope.  Beaders... what say you?  I'm thinking a simple peyote rope?

And here's a standard color one.  It's slightly gray so I beaded with hematite colored beads, opal-y Swarovski crystals and black tourmaline.  My brain cell almost died doing that tassel thing.  :(

That bead work is so fantastic ...makes my poor fingers hurt just looking at it! :)))

Thanks, Mary. It doesn't hurt at all...unless you stab yourself with the needle. ;)

I love your Lemon Meringue Opal. Looks like dessert. Yum! The setting you created is spectacular. I agree that a simple rope would set it off best.

The tassel was worth the brain damage. :)
