Hiya!

Well, all is back to "normal". And I made a couple blends. Now, you who know skinner blends can make these things in your sleep. I, however, was skinner blend challenged. Then my pal Kathi said, "ecru is your friend" and POOF! All is well on the skinner front. I am very happy with how these came out and now I'm dying to do more. :) Thanks, Kathi!

Why is ecru so friendly?

Hee. Now I get to sound like a skinner pro! :D Because, a thickness of it in between the colors keep them from getting muddy. The ecru just disappears into the colors without changing them. You'd think it would make them all muddy but it does just the opposite. The biggest problem I was having was mud in between great colors. A thickness of ecru eliminated that. Go figure. :) I just used a small amount as these sheets are small. If you are making a big blend, you'd need more ecru. Go try it! :)
