Victorian Something

Tami Schvat in Israel made this cool cane and I bought it ages ago.  Finally, I made something then decided The Queen ( that would be Victoria)  would love it so I beaded it with Swarovski crystals and Swarovski pearls.  But I can't decide if I should leave the picot edging the way it is or fill it in so it's solid.  What say you??  Also, should I leave it this way or turn it on its side?  It's a puzzlement.  :D

GORGEOUS. Picot edge and the angle the way it is. Beautiful setting for Tami's lovely cane. Crystals and pearls,.... Queenie would have loved it.
