Fun Ear Hooks and Stuff

And so, to keep myself out of trouble I needed a mission.  Ear hooks and matching eye pins were it.  I spent hours making these then testing each one to make sure it was smooth going through the ear.  I listed them all on my Art Fire shop but for some reason, they don't show up on my home page, only in the "Earrings" section.  I have no idea why that is, tho.  :(  Look at the difference in these earrings!  One with a store bought hook and one with my Art Collection hook. Makes a huge difference, don'tcha think?

Nice ear wires Moe!

By the way, when you list new items on ArtFire it goes to the back page so you have to use the Merchandizer (under tools) to rearrange and move it.

Hope that helps!

THanks, Carolyn! I didn't know anything about the merchandizer thing. I guess that's something else they changed when they overhauled ArtFire. Used to be what you listed was front and center, you didn't have to go looking for it. But now that I know where it is, I'm happy. :D

They make a huge difference and look great! I made some earwires once myself but out of copper wire and someone commented "well I wouldn't put THAT through my ear". Oh dear - what am I doing wrong??

I really like the ones that are bent in the center and longer. I have been wanting to make those for a while now. You have inspired me to give it a try!

Oh, Flo! That was a terrible thing for that person to say to you! Maybe you didn't do anything wrong and the person was just being mean. I make ear wires from copper all the time. I love them as I don't have metal allergies. Thanks for your nice words! :D

Thanks a bunch, Mary! :D

Have at it, Roberta! Making them is tons of fun but way harder than it looks. It will really help you if you have good tools. :0 And can measure perfectly. Post a photo when you make yours! And have fun!
