Don'tcha love amber? I do. Don'tcha hate how expensive it is? I do. :D So, wonderful polymer clay lends itself to faux stones. I was experimenting with the relatively new Pardo translucent clay and this is what I came up with. What do you think??

WHOA, Never seen any kidney stones that look like that. Seriously GORGEOUS and realistic! I specially like the mango. Can't what to see what you do with them.

I did, Jodie. I sanded from 600 to 800 to 1000 grit then buffed with my Dremel. They did come out nice and glassy, didn't they? I was soooo happy! :D
Anita! I have NOOO idea what to do with them. I think I will just wait for inspiration to strike. :D Maybe I will make some more faux turquoise. That ought to look great! What do you think??

Thanks Cindy! I used this dark amber with some cheapy "turquoise" my friend got at a swap meet. It came out great and now the mystery turquoise doesn't look quite so....unreal. :) I actually think it might be dyed howlite but I'm not sure. Anyway, this bronzy color looks great with the turquoise color. :)
