Yay! I Made It!

Ok, many thanks to all who gave me suggestions on how to finish the jade necklace.  I did it!  What do you think?  I is happy!

Scrooge Kitty and Other Things

Yes, it's Christmas.  And Scrooge Kitty decided she wasn't happy about life in general.  Just look at that mouth!  Isn't she a scream?  Mele K, everybody!  :D

And now, I need help!  I don't know how to finish off this necklace.  Does it need fringe?  I think it does.  To match the toggle?  What do you think??  And how much?  I just can't decide.

Pen Crazy

And so, I covered more pens.  All these great cane makers!  The flowers are from Anat in Israel.  You can find her gorgeous canes on Etsy.  I think she's the only Anat.  :)  The pastel retro is Carolyn's cane.  Carolyn's site is over there>>>> under polymer clay pals.  ;)  Isn't it cool?  And the red one is Jackie's.  She's the Pleasant Pheasant on Etsy.  Jackie makes super duper kaleidoscope canes.  I made some purse hangers from Anat's cane, too but I didn't get them finished yet.  :(

Fun New stuff

Ok, I decided it was time to make some new stuff now that I found out Ipo is ok. Whrew.  Little brat has a sprained back from tormenting her sister.    So, in relief that she'll be fine soon, here are some things I made.  ;)

Present Wrapping Time

I decided to wrap some presents the other day.  Naturally the kitties decided to *help*.  Usually, Ipo decides to sit in the middle of whatever I'm doing but this time she went to her chair and just watched.  I need to take her to the vet to fin out why she was so quiet.  VERY un-Ipolike.  So, here are the fur brats.  :)

Angie's Salt

Angie, my friend who is aka The Fluze, makes salt.  Well, she doesn't actually *create* the salt (or, does she?) but she makes this fabulous spiced salt where she bakes herbs and spices right into Hawaiian sea salt.  She does original and spicy.  Being as she, for some unknown reason, thought her grand kid's birthday was more important than coming to my craft fair, I told her I'd put it out at my fair.  It was a total hit!  Course now she's gonna have to try and get the loot from me, isn't she? Heh heh...........  Here's a picture of her onolicious salt!

Fair Day

And so, after a long year of making goodies, Fair Day arrived.  It was tons of fun and a success!  Here's a few pictures.  Notice our shy retiring kitties just HAD to get in on it.  :D

New Earring Displays

So, my handyman Mike tells me he can make me some earring displays.  Yippee1  I have purchased some in the past but they were basically garbage.  You know, those revolving ones made from plastic and spit?  Anyway, I really wanted a nice display that was easy to store and to use and the customers would find convenient.

So, this is what Mike made me.  I LOVE it!

New Earrings

And so, I have to make an earrings and bracelet set for my friend.  We sort of decided on what her step daughter would like but I decided to make my own design.  At least I THINK it's my design.  But, there's nothing new in the world so maybe it's not.  But I think it is.  :D  I'm calling them "abacus" because the big crystal slides back and forth like an abacus.

Anyway, I is most happy with how these came out.  Now I'll make the commission ones!  What do you think??

Christmas Plants

Last year I bought a bunch of these adorable little ginger bread men from Bev Kennedy.  This year I had 2 left so today, when we go to friend's for a Thanksgiving get together, I'm taking this plant to our friend Ted.  Thanks, Bev!!

My friend asked me to make her ornaments for her grand kids.  The girl you already saw but here are the boys.  I beaded Nick a little red lei.

Cuteness Attack

My friend Pammie said, "Make some Hawaiian ginger bread babies."  I said, oh, nobody will want them.  Silly me.  I made these two and not only is the girl sold, I have 3 more orders!  Yay!  Orders are GOOD!  :D

Ankie's Tiles

A while ago my friend Ankie, in the Northern Wilds, gave me these tiles.  I finally got around to making a bracelet.  And matching earrings.  :)   Watch out, Jeanann! Everyone will be emailing you saying...GIVE ME TILES!!!  :D

More Kitty Pix

Allie doesn't like to have her picture taken so she won't look at the camera.  But, she's such a sweetie and isn't she gorgeous sitting in the sunshine on our green table?  An Ipo.  The little fluff ball is just soooo cute... when she's sleeping.  :D

Oh.  Wait.  One of these is Ipo.  That can't have have an "angel" label, can it?  I didn't think so.  But, to fake me out, here are the kitties, snoozing in the sunshine.  Angelic as they can be.  :D  You can almost see Allie's halo.  Ipo's seems to be MIA.  :(

Sleeping Angels

I'm having a ball making these little angels!  This is my one and only boy angel (so far).  Isn't he cute?  He went out to play ball and got all dirty and tore his robe.  He's in BIG fat trouble with the Head Angel!

Snowmen and Kathi Scraps

Now, a few months ago my friend Kathi gave me some scraps.  WHY she gives them to me I'll never know.  They are SOOO cool!  Look at this wonderful cab I made!  I absolutely LOVE this.  Last night I beaded it then decided to quit while I was ahead.  It look better with a plain beaded bezel, don't you think?  I thought about putting fringe on but that might be overkill.  What do you guys think?

Then I decided to do something with the wooden hearts that were in the swap box.  :)  I forget who put them in but, THANKS! Isn't my little snowman cute?

More Things For My Store

 It's really hard to believe it's November already.  There's what?  6 weeks left to Christmas?  YIKES!  But, I'm in the Spirit and getting ready for it all!  :D

My Angel

So, Christmas is sneaking up on us!  As you all know, there is no PC on this blog so I'm into Christmas.  "Holiday Season", not so much.  So, nobody get offended, ok?    WAIT!  I got it!  I will wish everyone Happy Imbolc!  There.  Now, take a look at my Imbolc angel.  :(  That doesn't sound right, does it?  ;)  I don't think Druids had angels but, what do I know?

Anyway, I made my little snoozing angel.  She took off her halo and is holding it so she could have a little nap.  Isn't she cute?  The handy man next door saw her and immediately ordered one for his grand daughter.  Personalized and everything.  How cool is that!?  ;D

Gilly and Green Stuff

Now, I have this terrific pal in Australia.  Gilly, is she.  She's my "older twin".  I love her to little bitty shreds.  So, one fine day The Gills sends me a box of goodies.  In the box is this really cool cane which I love!  So, I made this bracelet from it.  Cool, no?  ;)

Then I made some more goodies.  The earrings I had made but was brain dead when it came to stringing the pendant.  Then, one fine yesterday, it came to me! So, I strung it.  And all is well in the AlohaMoe world.  :D  And what do you guys think of this ruffled necklace?  I love it!  ;D
